Marijuana found in vehicle

Wayne County Sheriff Jody Ashley and narcotics investigators with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department discovered roughly 20 pounds of marijuana in a vehicle that allegedly had been abandoned within the city limits of Waynesboro last Friday. Agents Macey Torrey and Kevin McDonald investigated the vehicle along with drug dog Alex. Found inside the vehicle were packages of marijuana totaling more than 20 pounds. The vehicle was registered in Texas.
