SMNTF Charges One With Prescription Forgery
August 29, 2006
On Tuesday, August 29th 2006, The South Mississippi Narcotics Task Force arrested and charged Ashley Karen Neely with two counts of prescription forgery. The arrest stems from an investigation that was launched after a Medical Doctor from Quitman, Ms, reported to the SMNTF that some prescriptions fraudulently obtained and forged were delivered to a pharmacy in Waynesboro.
SMNTF Agents Brent Pursell, Brad Warrick, Brad Singleton, and William Satcher participated in the investigation. “The Pharmacy and the Medical Doctor were instrumental in this investigation,” said SMNTF Commander Brent Pursell.
