Undercover Drug Investigation Nets 28 Violators

The South Mississippi Narcotics Task Force is bringing a year long undercover drug investigation to a close with the arrest of several individuals on drug charges. The undercover operation has resulted with twenty-eight (28) individuals being charged with various drug violations. The Waynesboro Police Department and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department is working with the SMNTF to locate and arrest the suspects. Twelve offenders have been arrested to date. Names of violators yet to be arrested will be released at a later date.
- Thomas Norsworthy; B/M; 20; Glitter Lane; Waynesboro, Ms; charged with possession of marijuana within 1500 ft. of a church with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm; & sale of cocaine within 1500 ft. of a church.
- Demarkeo Ford; B/M; 18; Joiner Street; Waynesboro, Ms; charged with sale of cocaine within 1500 ft. of a church 2 counts.
- Rashado Gaines B/M; 16 (Juvenile Certified as an Adult); Glitter Lane; Waynesboro, Ms; charged with sale of cocaine; & possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
- Michael Evans; B/M; 47; Pleasant Grove Altair Road; Waynesboro, MS; charged with sale of cocaine.
- Mallie McGrew; B/M 18; Charles Street; Waynesboro; Ms; charged with sale of cocaine within 1500 ft. of a church.
- Lewis McNickles; B/M; 65; Pleasant Grove Chappell Road; Waynesboro, Ms; charged with sale of cocaine 2 counts; & possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
- Cedric Johnson; B/M; 37; Foster Lane; Waynesboro, Ms; charged with sale of cocaine 2 counts.
- Robert Mayfield; B/M; 19; Joiner Street; Waynesboro, Ms; charged with sale of cocaine.
- Bobby Predale Bishop; B/M; 34; Pacely Street; Waynesboro, Ms; charged with sale of cocaine withing 1500 ft. of a church.
- Zachary Bishop; B/M; 26; Cane Mill Drive; Waynesboro, Ms; charged with sale of cocaine; & possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
- Emanual Lewis Ford; B/M; 20; Sand Bottom Drive; Waynesboro, Ms; charged with sale of cocaine.
- Johnny Lewis Harris; B/M; 29; Flats Road; Buckatunna, Ms; charged with sale of cocaine.
