WCSO & SMNTF Arrest Drug Violator On Stateline Battles Road

On November 28th 2006; at approximately 2000 hours, The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department and the South Mississippi Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant on a residence located on the Stateline Battles Road. Deputies Tim Hollinghead, Wesley Waites, & SMNTF Agents Brad Singleton, Johnny Smith, Brent Purcell, & Brad Warrick discovered approximately two ounces of marijuana and a firearm. Cesar Travis Owens was arrested and charged with possession of more than one ounce of marijuana with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm.
