Washam & Jordan Charged With Burglary

On April 13th 2007 at approximately 1630 hours, The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department received a report that a residence located on the Matherville Diamond Road had been broken into. Deputy Patrick Johnson and Chief Deputy Gerald Barnett responded. Several items were reported missing from the residence. Chief Deputy Barnett and Deputy Johnson recovered physical evidence from the scene.
On April 14th 2007, Investigator Mike Mozingo and Deputy Johnson received some information that led to the recovery of the majority of the property and the arrest of two individuals. Roderick Washam and Ronnie Jordan were arrested and charged with burglary of a dwelling. Wayne County Justice Court Judge Charles Britton Sr. set the bond at $10,000.00 each. Investigator Mozingo will presented the case to the June 18th 2007 Grand Jury.
