The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department cleared two criminal cases on April 25th 2007, when Investigator Kevin Stevens was contacted by Clarke County Sheriff’s Department Investigator J. G. Kufell and informed that several law enforcement agencies were conducting a search at a location in Clarke County and had discovered a Yazoo lawn mower and lumber believed to be stolen from Wayne County. Sheriff Farrior, Investigators Mike Mozingo & Kevin Stevens, and Chief Deputy Gerald Barnett responded.

The investigation led Investigators Mozingo and Stevens to Lauderdale County where two additional Yazoo mowers were recovered. The three Yazoo mowers were stolen from Gatlin Tractor in the Beat Four Community on March 28th 2007. The lumber was stolen from a construction site at Spinks Hayes Road and Hwy 45 on February 22nd 2007.

The case was broken when Lamar County Officers caught White and Fuller attempting to steal a tractor from a Lamar County business. The suspects attempted to flee but a K-9 captured White. Fuller managed to avoid capture that night.

Michael White, and Scottie Fuller are in custody and face charges in Wayne County, Lamar County, Forrest County, Jones County, Lauderdale County, Clarke County, and Jasper County. White and Fuller will be charged with three counts of grand larceny in Wayne County.
