Five Arrested In Drug Investigation

The South Mississippi Narcotics Task Force and The Wayne County Sheriff's Department arrested five individuals on drug charges. The arrests stemmed from information that was anonymously provided to SMNTF Commander Brent Pursell. Information was also provided through the WCSO website's Submit a Tip page and through the local DHS office. The operation centered around a residence located on Highway 63 just South of Camp Eight Road. Deputies Charles Everett and Patrick Johnson assisted SMNTF Agents Brent Pursell, William Satcher, and Joey Moulds in the investigation. Approximately 35 grams of crystal meth, digital scales; drug paraphernalia; night vision equipment, and approximately 5 grams of powder cocaine was seized in the operation.
Those arrested and charged are:
- Kristy Lane Signa; W/F; 23; Flick Road; Waynesboro, Ms charged with possession of crystal meth.
- Christopher Warren Davis; W/M; 38; Matherville Diamond Road; Waynesboro, Ms charged with possession of crystal meth.
- Richard Jacob Busby; W/M; 27; Donald Sellers Road; Waynesboro, Ms; charged with possession of crystal meth with intent to distribute
- Christopher Grayson; W/M; 20; Donald Ave; Laurel, Ms; charged with possession of precursor chemicals; & possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Christie Lee McCarty; W/F; 23; Hwy 63; Waynesboro, Ms; charged with possession of crystal meth with intent to distribute.
