Pair Charged With Grand Larceny

On April 2nd 2012, The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department arrested and charged Corey Jason Gandy and John Kennith White with grand larceny. The arrests are the result of the investigation of the report of a riding mower and weed eater being stolen from a farm located on the Riley Jordan Road. Deputy Johnathan Platt responded to the initial call.
The victim and his employees spotted the mower being used by and individual in town and contacted the Sheriff’s Department. Investigators Cynthia Terrell and Kevin Stevens obtained written statements from witnesses.
Chief Investigator Mike Mozingo and Investigators Terrell and Stevens arrested Corey Jason Gandy and John Kennith White with grand larceny. Investigator Terrell will present the case to the June 25th Wayne County Grand Jury.
