Wayne County Sheriff's Office
and Adult Detention Center
In January of 2001, the Wayne County Sheriff's Department moved into a new building housing the Sheriff's administration offices, a District Courtroom, and a state of the art, 118 bed Adult Detention Facility. Housing inmates charged with felony and misdemeanor cimes, the detention center is inspected regularly by state and federal agencies.
