An alert Wayne County citizen saw a suspicious vehicle Wednesday and a total of five people are facing drug charges because of their help. The five were arrested at the Valero gas station according to Wayne County Sheriff Jody Ashley. All five are from Alabama. We've got our community engaged," said Ashley. "People are looking at it. They're talking about it. And you know, if we can get a good tip and get a good drug dealer off the streets, all the more." Ashley praised arresting narcotics Investigator Johnny Smith and Macy Torrey for their fight on drugs in Wayne County.
