Report Of Suspicious Activity Leads To Arrest

Suspicious activity reported by citizens resulted in the arrest of Ivy Gene West (54) of 216 Sturdivant Road of Waynesboro. He is facing a $50,000 bond for his arrest on possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine while in possession of a firearm. Washington County, Alabama Sheriff’s Department has placed a detainer on West.
