Demond Russell (10/09/1978) of 2918 Highway 45S of Waynesboro was charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana at a safety checkpoint. Johnny Smith and Macy Torrey conducted the stop at the intersection of Turner and Court Street. Bond was set at $2,000.
Thomas Gray of 500 F Fyson Drive in Waynesboro was also arrested for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana at the same checkpoint by Smith and Torrey and faces a $2,000 bond.
