Mailboxes Damage/Reward Offered

Sheriff Jody Ashley states that a number of mailboxes have been destroyed after being shot during the night with both a small caliber weapon and a shotgun. Ashley said a number of residents in Strengthford have suffered damage to their mailboxes over the past few nights. Wayne County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a suspect or suspects in these cases. Callers can remain anonymous.
