WCSO Investigates Burglary Of Residence On Coyt Road

On June 2nd 2007, The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department responded to th report of a burglary located in the 1500 area of Coyt Road. Deputies Michael Patton and Jimmy Bunch responded. Initial investigation revealed that entry was gained by force. A Marlin 30-30 with a 6X9 scope, a Ruger .22 Rifle, a double barrel 12 gauge shotgun, and a 12 gauge shotgun was reported as stolen.
Anyone that may have information related to this incident is asked to call the Wayne County Sheriff's Department at 735-3801 or Crime Stoppers at 735-LEAD (5323). You can also submit information online using our "Submit a Tip" form. A $1,000.00 reward is being offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
