Buckatunna Business Burglarized

On Saturday, November 29th 2008, The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department received a call reporting that Jordan-Cooper Wood Products, located in Buckatunna across the street from the Post Office, was burglarized during the late hours Friday or early Saturday morning. Deputy Tim Hollinghead and Investigator Kevin Stevens responded. Evidence gathered at the scene suggested that one individual climbed a fence and entered the building. Heavy vandalism was present in the office and two lap top computers were reported stolen. Evidence at the scene also indicated that the individual entering the building had wet paint on his/her hands and clothes.

You can also submit information online using our "Submit a Tip" form. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
