WCSO Investigates Suspicious Fire

On Sunday, February 8th 2009, Wayne County Sheriff’s Department Fire Investigator Mike Mozingo received a call reporting a suspicious structure fire located off of Reservoir Road. Fire Investigator Mozingo responded and determined that the fire started sometime early Saturday morning. The contents of a 40 X 40 barn was completely destroyed. The barn contained a lot of wood working equipment.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $1000.00 cash reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case. Anyone that may have information related to this incident is asked to call the Wayne County Sheriff's Department at 735-3801 or Crime Stoppers at 735-LEAD (5323).
