WCSO Investigates Burglary Of Camp On Betty Sanderson Road

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department received a call reporting that a camp located on the Betty Sanderson Road had been burglarized. Deputies Jimmy Bunch and Kyle Smith responded. Several items were reportedly stolen. It appeared that one of the individuals cut himself while entering the camp. Deputies recovered physical evidence from the crime scene.
Anyone that may have information related to this incident is asked to call the Wayne County Sheriff's Department at 735-3801 or Crime Stoppers at 735-LEAD (5323). You can also submit information online using our "Submit a Tip" form. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
