WSCO Investigates Two Residential Burglaries In The North Maynor Creek Community

On Monday, June 22nd 2009, The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department received a call reporting a burglary on the North Maynor Creek Drive. Deputies Charles Everett & Patrick Johnson, Sheriff Farrior, Chief Deputy Gerald Barnett, and Investigator Kevin Stevens responded. An individual saw two black males running to a maroon vehicle driven by a black female and flee the area. A television was among the items reported stolen from the residence. Officers documented the forcible entry into the house and was successful in identifying and gathering physical evidence from the scene.
Officers received a second call reporting a burglary of a residence located on Tiner Drive. Based on observations, Officers have reason to believe that the two burglaries were committed by the same person(s). The houses are located within a mile of each other.

You can also submit information online using our "Submit a Tip" form. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
