Welding Trailer Stolen - Reward Offered

On Thursday, August 13th 2009, The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department received a call reporting that a welding trailer along with materials and a welding machine had been stolen from Graham Road. Investigator Mike Mozingo and Chief Deputy Gerald Barnett responded and learned that sometime between 4:00 p.m. on the 12th and 7"00 a.m. on the 13th, the black Port City 20 foot dove tail trailer serial number 4PCU2202151000078 had been stolen. The trailer had a winch, and several 20 foot joints of metal materials. The welding machine is red and black Lincoln Ranger GXT 250A Kohler 10,000 watt welder with full flip up covers serial number U1050706178.
Anyone that may have information related to this incident is asked to call the Wayne County Sheriff's Department at 735-3801 or Crime Stoppers at 735-LEAD (5323). You can also submit information online using our "Submit a Tip" form. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the recovery of this trailer and/or an arrest in this case.
