Whippet Stop Burglarized - Crime Stoppers Offer Reward

At approximately 0415 hrs, Saturday morning, The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department received a call reporting that the Whippet Stop in Clara had been broken into. Deputy Kyle Smith responded. Deputy Smith summoned Investigators Mike Mozingo and Kevin Stevens to the scene. Officers were successful in gathering physical evidence from the scene. An undisclosed amount of money was reported stolen from the business.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest(s) in this case. Anyone that may have information related to this incident is asked to call the Wayne County Sheriff's Department at 735-3801 or Crime Stoppers at 735-LEAD (5323).
