WCSO Investigates Theft of Trailer Loaded With Pine Logs On Hwy 84

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department received a call on December 30th 2009, reporting that an eighteen wheeler trailer loaded with pine logs was stolen from a location on Highway 84 East of Waynesboro. Deputy Charles Everett responded to the scene and conducted the initial investigation. The trailer is a reported as a four bolster with new tires bearing license plate number BTLR 087461.
Anyone that may have information related to this incident is asked to call the Wayne County Sheriff's Department at 735-3801 or Crime Stoppers at 735-LEAD (5323). You can also submit information online using our "Submit a Tip" form. There is a reward offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to an arrest(s) in this case.
