Traffic Stop For No License Plate Leads To Drug Arrest

On August 7th 2006 at approximately 2400 hours, Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputy Russell Douglass conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that did not have a license plate on Glitter Lane. Waynesboro Police Department Officers Randy Pettus, Chris Powe, & Brian Everett assisted in the traffic stop. Deputy Douglass found the driver, Tyson Hundley, to be in possession of cocaine. Deputy Douglass transported Hundley to the Wayne County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with possession of cocaine, no tag, driving while license suspended, and hold for MDOC. SMNTF Agent Brad Singleton will present the case to the June 2007 Grand Jury.
