Traffic Stop Results In Drug Arrest

On August 25th 2006, at approximately 1430 hours, The South Mississippi Narcotics Task Force and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department arrested Travis Ray Young for possession of cocaine. SMNTF Agents Brad Singleton, Brent Pursell, and William Satcher conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on Highway 84 near Reservoir Road. Young, one of the occupants, was found to be in possession of cocaine. Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputy Charles Everett assisted in the traffic stop. SMNTF Agent Brad Singleton will be presenting the case to the January 200 Grand Jury.
