Deputies Certify With Tasers

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department will have an additional resource available when dealing with combative and out of control individuals. Officers completed a training class conducted by Taser International which consisted of class room instruction and hands on evolutions which resulted in the taser being deployed on each Deputy.
