Clara Elementary Fourth Grade Class Visits Sheriff's Department

The 4th grade class of Clara Elementary School visited the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department and the Wayne County Adult Detention Center Thursday morning. Jail Officer Jamey Beard provided the students a tour of the jail facility. After touring the jail, Chief Deputy Gerald Barnett addressed the class in the courtroom where the students participated in a question and answer session.
