Pennsylvania Escapee Captured By WCSO

On January 3rd 2007, The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department arrested Christopher Lee Taylor who had escaped from Centre County, Pennsylvania Jail. Taylor escaped from the Centre County, Pennsylvania Jail on December 19th 2006. Sheriff Stein Farrior began receiving calls about an individual that had moved into a community in Wayne County. “People were suspicious of this individual, they knew that something was just not right”, said Sheriff Farrior.
Investigator Kevin Stevens began compiling information on the individual and eventually learned that Taylor was a wanted fugitive. Investigator Mike Mozingo took Taylor into custody during a coordinated traffic stop. Taylor remains in the Wayne County Adult Detention Center awaiting extradition back to Centre County, Pennsylvania
