Local Business Donates Taser To WCSO

Kevin Stanley of Ind-Oil, which is a local Waynesboro business, recently provided The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department with the funds to purchase an additional Taser. Chief Deputy Gerald Barnett was on hand to accept the donation from Ind-Oil. “We hope to have each one of our officers equipped with a Taser in the near future. At the present time each shift has at least one Officer assigned that has already been issued a Taser.”, said Sheriff Stein Farrior.
