The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department recently installed three lap top computers in patrol cars. These computers will enable officers to compete accident reports in the field, generate crime scene reports, and eventually have access to the NCIC. These computers were made available by a grant through Homeland Security. Todd Cleary and Geoffery Clark was instrumental in securing the grants.
