Suspicious Activity Call Leads To Felony Arrest

Theodore F. Jones was arrested and charged by The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department on May 30th 2009 for possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute. The arrest was the result of someone calling the Sheriff’s Department and reporting a suspicious vehicle around a business in the Eucutta community. Deputies Jimmy Bunch and Kyle Smith responded and located the vehicle parked on a side road. Deputies Bunch and Smith recovered approximately 240 dosage units of Loratab. SMNTF Agent Joey Moulds contributed the arrests to suspicious activity being reported and officers following up on the call. Wayne County Justice Court Judge Jane Hutto set Jones’ bond at $25,000.00.
