Federal Fugitive Arrested By Deputies

An individual with a long outstanding federal warrant was taken into custody during a traffic stop Sunday, June 7th 2009. Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies Jimmy Bunch and Kyle Smith conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersections of Highways 84 & 45. A NCIC inquiry revealed that the driver, Gerson Alfaro Villatoro of Guatomala, was wanted bu the United States Bureau of Immigration and Customs. Villatoro remains in the Wayne County Adult Detention Center awaiting action of the Department of Homeland Security.
