Parnell Charged With Failing To Register With Sex Offender Registry

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department has arrested and charged Terry Gale Parnell with failing to register as a sex offender. During the course of an investigation, WPD Ast. Chief Bunch discovered that Parnell was convicted of a sex offense in 1992 in Texas and was now living at 505 Chickaswhay Street. Parnell was not registered with the Mississippi Sex Offender Registry.
“Parnell moved here in 2000 and hid his conviction from his family and friends. The Sex Offender Registration Laws are in place for a reason and violation of them will not be tolerated ” said Sheriff John Stein Farrior. Investigator Mike Mozingo charged Parnell with failing to register and will present the case to the June 2009 Wayne County Grand Jury. Wayne Count Justice Court Judge Charles Britton Sr. set bond at $25,000.00.
